Fire Hose Installation

A fire hose is a high-pressure hose used to carry water or other fire retardant (such as foam) to a fire to extinguish it. A garden hose can be an effective source of water for the purpose of supplying water to plants but it is not all that useful as a fire hose. Garden hoses do not carry the same water pressure that a fire hose does, and thus can not reach as far. A fire hose carries anywhere from ten to one hundred times the power of a garden hose. The pressure needed to extinguish fire is very high which is not provided by the ordinary garden hose.
